Bendi Forklift Training Course Overview

The Bendi truck, often referred to as a Flexi truck, is designed for tasks similar to those performed by counterbalance or reach trucks. Its unique design enables it to stack and de-stack pallets in narrow aisles, as well as operate efficiently in outdoor yards for unloading lorries. This makes it an ideal choice for tight spaces and versatile applications. Flexi Bendi trucks are particularly user-friendly for beginner operators due to their simpler control systems compared to more complex forklifts.

Our Bendi Forklift Training Course Breakdown

At Result Forklift Training Ltd, our Flexi Bendi forklift training course provides comprehensive instruction on the safe operation of narrow-aisle, pivot steer trucks. With a maximum of three trainees per course, participants receive personalized attention and practical experience.

The course covers:

  • Hazard Awareness: Recognizing and mitigating potential dangers in the workplace.
  • Truck Movement and Control: Mastering the skills for moving, stopping, and steering the Bendi truck.
  • Safety Code for Operators: Learning essential safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Manoeuvring in Confined Spaces: Navigating the truck in narrow aisles and tight areas.
  • Theoretical, Pre-Operational, and Practical Assessments: Testing knowledge and operational skills.
  • Hydraulic Control Operations: Safely managing lifting mechanisms.
  • Pre-Shift Inspections: Conducting essential checks to ensure the truck is in safe working order.
  • Stacking and De-Stacking: Efficiently handling and organizing pallets.
  • Lift Truck Stability: Understanding load balance and safe operation.

Successful trainees will receive an RTITB accredited certificate and a photo ID card, all included in the course fee.

Refresher course for previously licensed operators – completed in 1 day.
Experienced operators without a license – completed in 2 to 3 days.
Novice course for those with no prior experience – completed in 5 days.
Conversion courses for operators transitioning from another type of forklift to a Flexi Bendi truck – completed in 1 to 2 days.
