Overview of the Course

The goal of our NPORS Excavator Training program is to equip operators with the practical knowledge and self-assurance needed to operate 180° and 360° excavators safely. Tracked and wheeled machinery used in civil engineering, utilities, demolition, and construction sites are covered in the training.

You will obtain practical experience in safe excavation techniques, trenching, lifting operations, machine control, and operating efficiently in actual job-site conditions throughout the course. The emphasis is on increasing safety awareness, developing competence, and making sure you are trained to industry standards.

The course is fully accredited by NPORS and widely recognised throughout the UK construction sector, including by major contractors.

How to safely lift objects with an excavator
Moving on slopes, uneven ground, and in tight spaces

How to work safely near underground utilities and services
How to properly shut down, park safely, and respond to emergencies
Important health and safety laws, site rules, and duties of the operator

Qualifications You Recieve

After successfully completing your training:

An NPORS Trained Operator Card, which comes in two styles: one with the CSCS logo and one with the traditional logo.
Certification is accepted on construction sites all across the UK and internationally.
A traditional NPORS card that is valid for five years and doesn't require No NVQ
A clear path to the Blue Competent Operator Card
